Hugo John de Salis, Non-Executive Director and Chairman (aged 51)
Hugo de Salis specialises in assisting growth companies in business structure, corporate advice, strategy formulation and implementation, new business generation and IR/PR initiatives.
Mr de Salis started his career at the Unit and Investment Trust sales desk at Schroder Unit Trusts Ltd, before moving to JP Morgan Investment Management where he became an assistant fund manager on the Japanese Equities desk. During this time, he gained a Securities and Future Authority (SFA) registered representative qualification, an Investment Management Certificate and the Series 3 Future and Options qualification.
Subsequently, Mr de Salis joined the Financial Public Relations firm Square Mile Weber Shandwick, before setting up his own AIM-focussed Investor Relations and Public Relations company, St Brides Partners Ltd (SBP) in 2001, which he grew to a team of 16 representing over 40 annually retained companies across multiple sectors. Having supported +50 IPOs and multiple M&A transactions, he has garnered an extensive network in the financial, legal, and media sectors, specifically those active within the growth company arena.
Contiguously to SBP, Mr de Salis established Ragnar Capital LLP, an FCA-regulated corporate finance boutique, which specialises in advisory and raising capital for high growth companies, both in the public and private arenas. Since selling his stake in SBP in 2019 and a majority interest in Ragnar Capital (he retains a 20% stake), Mr de Salis has focussed on providing consultancy services to private and publicly listed companies through his business, Lepanto Consultancy Ltd.
Mr de Salis graduated from Manchester University with a BA Honours degree in History in 1993.
Anthony Neville Chisholm Eastman, Non-Executive Director (aged 48)
Mr Eastman is a member of the CAANZ and ICAEW and a current Partner at Orana Corporate LLP. Mr Eastman has a number of years’ experience in financial management and corporate advisory services, primarily in the natural resources sector, along with extensive experience in the public company environment, having been a director and company secretary of a number of ASX and AIM junior mining and oil & gas focused companies.
He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of two other Main Market companies, namely Critical Metals plc and East Star Resources plc. Mr Eastman has previously worked with Ernst & Young and CalEnergy Gas ltd, a subsidiary of the Berkshire Hathaway Group of Companies in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
